Here are some top Fourth of July activities to enjoy in Lubbock:
🎉 Lubbock’s “4th on Broadway” Celebration
Lubbock’s largest free Independence Day festival returns on Friday, July 4, 2025 along Broadway Avenue & Mackenzie Park:

9:45 AM – Annual parade departs First Baptist Church, heading east to the South Plains Fairgrounds
All day – Street festival with food trucks, vendors, live music

5 PM – “Picnic Under the Stars” at Mackenzie Park
7 PM – Gorilla Law-palooza concert featuring Smash Mouth, Paul Wall, DJ Unique
10 PM – Spectacular fireworks show set to patriotic music
Parking: Paid lots at the fairgrounds and Broadway intersections; free spots off Canyon Lake Drive near 19th Street
