Men’s Health Month is observed every June in the United States. It’s a national observance aimed at raising awareness about preventable health issues and encouraging early detection and treatment of diseases affecting men and boys.

Key Objectives:

  • Promote healthy lifestyles such as regular exercise, balanced diets, and avoiding risky behaviors.

  • Encourage regular checkups and screenings for conditions like prostate cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

  • Raise awareness about mental health, including depression and suicide, which are often under-discussed in men.

Important Events:

  • Wear Blue Day – Typically held on the Friday before Father’s Day, it's a way to show support for men's health by wearing blue and spreading awareness.

Ways to Participate:

  • Schedule a physical or screening.

  • Promote men’s health at work, school, or on social media.

  • Participate in or host fitness events or health fairs.
