Lubbock resident wins $1 million dollars!

​A Lubbock resident recently claimed a $1 million prize from the Texas Lottery's 500X scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased at Sonik Food Mart, located at 3908 Avenue Q in Lubbock. This marks the seventh of 15 top prizes available in this game, which offers over $229 million in total prizes with overall winning odds of 1 in 3.36. ​

In a similar event earlier this year, a Tahoka resident won a $1 million prize from the Jackpot Millions scratch-off game. The winning ticket was bought at a Stripes convenience store at 806 34th St. in Lubbock.
